The Iota Phi Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta is proud to announce that we have the 2nd highest cumulative GPA in the Panhellenic Council!
In keeping to our dedication to academics, Alpha Xi has an entire position dedicated to making sure each sister is realizing her potential in each of her classes. Meghan Murphy is our current Academic Achievement Director. She organizes study halls, holds office hours, and she works one on one with sisters to create class planners, enroll in courses, and create academic achievement plans.
Alpha Xi is also proud to have a mentorship program for all new members. Each member is offered an opportunity to be paired with an older sister of the same major, so that they can give her advice about professors and courses and even help with course-work.
Alpha Xi is dedicated to helping our sisters excel in their careers outside of the classroom too! Our members have interned at a variety of places including:
- Autism Speaks
- White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders
- White House Liaison's Internship Program at the Department of Homeland Security
- The Hill
- The Embassy of Spain
- The Embassy of Great Britain
- Climate Reality Project
- The Washington Wizards
- C. Fox Communications
- Hepatitis Foundation International
- Kogod Cybersecurity Governance Center
- American University Athletics Communication Department
- Any Many More!
Are you ready to realize YOUR potential in your courses? If you have any questions about Alpha Xi's dedication to academics and how we help our sisters excel in the classroom and beyond, feel free to contact Meghan Murphy, our Academic Achievement Director, at firstname.lastname@example.org!
